Like all other quartz heaters, the main benefit of using one of these is the fact that they provide instant on heat, warming the person, not the surrounding air. This means that you don't have to wait for the unit to heat up, before it starts working like you would have to with other forms of heating.
Please note that there is a minimum mounting height of 2.1 metres, with a recommended height of 2.5 metres.
