The AlarmSense optical smoke detector and sounder beacon is a combination of the 55000-390 optical smoke detector and the 45681-509 sounder beacon base unit; and this product works by the light scatter principle.
The detector will go into an alarm state, once a pre-set level of smoke has gone into the sensing chamber.
